Laureldale firefighters were dispatched to assist Cologne in the area of The Hamilton Mall for a semi truck fire. Laureldale Chief 18-30 had Engine 33 hit the hydrant on the way in to the parking lot, to supply Cologne Engine 54 with water that was extinguishing the truck. Engine 33 crew gained access to the trailer and deployed a second hose line off Engine 54 to extinguisher the fire that extended into the trailer. Units remained on location until being cleared by Cologne Chief 18-50.
