Our members spent the day training on Winching and Rigging operations

Laureldale Fire Rescue, November 17

The class consisted of a 5 hour classroom session followed by 3 hours of hands on training. Classes like this enable our volunteers to stay sharp on skills that we do not use often. No Caption On 10/24/2024 Laureldale firefighters were dispatched to the Atlantic City Expressway for a reported brush fire

Laureldale Fire Rescue, October 24

Prior to arrival additional callers stated it was closer behind the Micheal's store in Consumer Square. Laureldale Engine 33 and Tanker 39 arrived and assisted New Jersey Forest Fire on location. A small fire was located and quickly extinguished. Tanker 39 supplied water to the brush trucks from Forest Fire. Units remained on location until being cleared by Forest Fire.... No Caption On 10/13/2024 shortly before 3 am Laureldale along with Hammonton firefighters were dispatched for reports of a motor vehicle accident on fire on The Atlantic City Expressway

Laureldale Fire Rescue, October 13

With conflicting stories from callers it was unknown what the severity of the accident was, Engine 33 Tanker 38, and Tanker 39 all responded. Hammonton Chief and Asst. Chief arrived and advised all units it was a single car accident on fire and all patients out of the vehicle. On 10/11/2024 approximately 3:38 pm Laureldale firefighters along with Cologne and Mays Landing were dispatched to Birch Street for a structure fire

Laureldale Fire Rescue, October 11

A Laureldale captain arrived to find smoke showing, and with the help of a neighbor who used an extinguish prior to arrival was able to identify the area with fire. Laureldale Chief 18-30 arrived and was able to knock the rest of the fire down with a water can extinguisher. Laureldale Fire Rescue, October 10

Firefighters visited the Atlantic County Fire Academy to learn how to recognize and prevent a flashover utilizing the flashover simulator. This simulator puts firefighters 3.5 feet below the level of the fire allowing them to observe a flashover while remaining safe.... (Full Story & Photos)

No Caption On 10/6/2024 approximately 4:45pm Laureldale firefighters were dispatched to the Atlantic City Expressway for a vehicle fire

Laureldale Fire Rescue, October 06

Engine 33 and Tanker 39 arrived and Engine 33 deployed a hose line to battle the vehicle fire, while Tanker 39 positioned to block the firefighters on scene working from traffic passing by. Tanker 38 also responded and supplied water to Engine 33. Incident was turned over to New Jersey State Police on location and all units were cleared.... (Full Story & Photos)
